My husband and I stayed 2 nights here as a quick getaway before our first child is born this fall. We were looking for nice views and relaxation without breaking the bank and this place did just that. We woke up in the morning and walked the path by the spillway, all paved and beautiful! There were other walkers out and lots of bikers. We rented a tandem kayak at the marina and took it out for 2 hours which I'm so glad we did! The lake is huge and wasn't crowded at all this day. We ate lunch at the wheelhouse which was good and nice to have some where to walk to. The lake and pool were beautiful and both worth a swim! I was happy to see so many people hanging out in the park at the beach! We had dinner at a winery close by and then played board games in our room until the night was over. I recommend driving 15 minutes from here to Breese and visiting the Dairy King for a meal. It was delicious and the town was welcoming! We got in later Sunday night and most everything was closed but the drive ended up being worth it! We plan to return some day, for a long weekend. Next time I'd definitely bring meal supplies to grill out and eat/drink snacks at the park by the beach.

The staff was VERY kind and helpful. We had around 30 family members staying there from all over the country and they very willingly let us use the breakfast/dining area for a pizza meal. We really appreciated the use of that space to eat together and visit.

Thanks to their wonderful Manager(Connie was difficult and unpleasant!) who accommodated our family with a 2-Queen beds room, 2hrs. prior to check-in...we are truly grateful! Room was extra large, super clean, had a huge fridge and faced West Access Marina a real sweet bonus! We made use of their sparkling outdoor pool for 4hrs. on a very hot 96 degree Sunday, and then spectacular boating/tubing on Carlyle Lake on Memorial Day! Love that Mariner's Village Resort has the Wheelhouse Grill Restaurant located next door...a hop, skip & jump to walk through the parking lot! Had a light breakfast, right in Resort... offers; cereal, bagels, waffles, toast, oatmeal, juice & coffee...started our day off, perfectly! Our family looks foward to returning this summer!

This was our second time staying at Mariner’s. Very accommodating even tho we were a bit loud the first evening in the lounge. We also were allowed a late check out the morning we left which made it much easier for traveling. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Mariner’s Village for a weekend. What can I say about the experience, it was excellent. Luckily for me weather was great, so I enjoyed my whole stay there.

My favorite part is its right in the park and makes for an awesome run along the waterfront — and one of the nicest restaurants, is right next door.

I recently stayed at Mariner’s Village with a large group and had an adjoining suite with two other members of our group. The room was great – large and spacious with a pull-out couch. The only negative was that we didn’t get clean towels even after asking for them. However, overall, the stay was great and I’ll come back again.

We found this hotel by luck. It really is a very nice place to stay. Good value and felt like we were at a resort since the marina is right there! We stayed in one of the cabins with a loft and it was great. Owners were especially attentive to make sure you enjoyed your stay and had everything you…

Friendly staff, very nice & reasonably priced rooms, and right next to the lake! One of our new favorite places to get away for an night. Only about 40 minutes from downtown St. Louis and a great get away to kick back & relax. We will definitely be back again soon.
